… the collective health of all beings, my personal biography, society at large, natural ecosystems, our collective pace of living, prior ways of life, lies of the public school system, new ways of living/being/working, relationships...
Let's dig in...
Do you have an interest in becoming further aligned in your mind and body? Do you have dreams, visions and desires of living life in a way that matches everything you imagine to be good and true to you? Do you feel the frustration of having to wake up to an alarm clock to go work that meaningless job as a means of paying for your overpriced utility bills, vitality-less food and overpriced cell phone plan that sucks your time and attention away from your true purpose? Do you wonder about the future of humanity? Do you feel the isolation? Do you feel the pressure of society upon your soul to be a certain person, to act a certain way and to partake in certain activities? Do you feel disregarded by your loved ones? Do you feel or sense a lack of connection to the natural world and the natural rhythms and cycles of nature? Do you feel quickened by society? Do you feel pressured to drink more, eat more and watch more? Do you feel pressured to conform? Do you feel scared to speak up? Do you feel afraid to change? Do you feel stuck, isolated and abandoned? Do you feel like there's just no other way? Do you feel subjected to the ways of a sick-consumer society? Do you feel anxiety from a seemingly inescapable reality of greed, ignorance and lack of self respect towards oneself, each other and nature? Do you miss the sound of the river? Do you miss the ability to wake up on your own time and begin your day in your own way? Do you miss the days of play and joy? Do you really love the work you do? Do you really engage in respectful and wholesome discourse among your fellow loved ones and co-workers? Do you actively engage in wholesome dialogue and conversation? Do you feel held back from expressing certain parts of yourself? Do you carry shame from the past? Have you let it go yet? Have you let yourself be lately? Do you feel rage? Do you sense peace? Serenity? How are you?
Let's get to it. Fasting, Sweating and Collective Group Work.
Fasting
For context: The Human Body is a Miracle Being comprised of many layers and densities; Physicality, Mentality, Astrality, Etheric, Spiritual, Mineral, Emotional.
Fasting is a means of reducing inputs to the Human Being in such a manor as to allow the workings of this Miracle Being to get a better sense of self and communicate to itself in an efficient and wholesome way.
Through fasting, we can 're-set' our internal and external systems. We can re-member our DNA to be complete, working and functioning in an optimal way. We can re-connect to our super and subtle bodies in a way that is conducive to do so.
Sweating
For context: Sweating is a form of fasting, detoxing, cleansing and purifying. Sweating is a way of cleansing both the internal and external systems, just like fasting. Sweating happens in many ways; exercise, sauna, sweat lodge, steam. Sweating is a wholistic modality that has stood the test of time throughout the ages.
Sweating can be a form of re-connection to the land, a cleansing of the cells and a purifying of the mind, (e.g. Sweat Lodges).
Collective Group Work
For context: The Human Being is one part in the whole of the Collective Human Being. One soul and many souls share this Cosmic Realm. You are a soul and I am a soul, together our souls create a collective soul - this notion is something I am beginning to learn in greater clarity and understanding. Essentially, our experience is a shared experience and what we do affects the external. Collectively doing Group Work is a way of enhancing our collective experience through the factor of exponential growth. For example, one person pushing a car uphill does not hold the same weight as ten people pushing a car uphill. One person can only do so much, many people can do miracles.
Collective Group Work expresses itself in a myriad of ways; group prayer, talking circles, joint meetings, open conversation, healthy debates, dialogue, farming, playing, music, making meals. Doing collective group work can facilitate change in communities and in individuals, again, changing both the internal AND external.
Fasting, Sweating and Collective Group Work
… has provided a bounty of satiety for my soul. It has cleansed my body and eased my mind. It has rejuvenated my sense of self, my capacity for compassion and my ability to connect openly and honestly to my fellow loved ones. I wish that you will discover for yourself when the time is right, the modalities that will also nourish your soul, your mind and your body.
Wishing you all the best on your journey and more,
M.J.B.
